Des Moines Performing Arts is looking for experienced, sales-oriented individuals to assist with outbound sales and courtesy calling campaigns.  Applicants should be computer savvy and have exceptional attention to detail.  Previous outbound sales call experience is desired but some sales/retail experience is a must

Primary responsibilities will involve placing outbound sales calls for new and renewing Broadway, Dance, and Temple Theater Season Ticket subscriptions and donations, as well as the occasional courtesy calling campaign.  Outbound sales calls will take place Monday-Thursday evenings and some weekends.  Calling campaigns take place throughout the year but there may be some months with very few shifts available.

Compensation is $10.25/hour plus commission and bonuses.  Commission and bonuses are awarded based on performance and sales.

Des Moines Performing Arts has an exciting opportunity for students interested in marketing world-class arts, entertainment, education and cultural activities.

We are seeking current college students anticipating a graduation date later than December 2014 for our summer marketing internship program. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, event advertising, promotional duties and assisting with 2014-2015 season marketing activities including the popular Willis Broadway Series at the Des Moines Civic Center. This position is ideal for students majoring in marketing, communications or advertising. Skills in copywriting, graphic design, video production, digital advertising and social media are preferred.  

This paid internship will begin May 2014. Applicants must be available a minimum of 15-20 hours per week. This position is temporary and will end August 2014.
