Individual Support

As a not-for-profit performing arts center, Des Moines Performing Arts depends on donations to operate our performance series, offer education programs, and maintain three theaters plus Cowles Commons. In fact, every performance series other than Broadway relies on donations to cover costs!

When you become part of our Donor Circle, you can help school-age children attend Applause Education Series performances or provide a teacher with important arts integration training through our Teacher Professional Development program. You can also enhance audience experiences by supporting programming such as The Dance Series, The Wellmark Family Series or The Prairie Meadows Temple Comedy Series. Your donation is essential, as ticket prices alone are not able to cover program costs.

Take Your Giving to the Next Level – Join the Patron Circle

Leadership gifts are critical to the ongoing programming and educational opportunities at Des Moines Performing Arts.  Donors making gifts of $1,250 or more become a part of Des Moines Performing Arts’ exclusive Patron Circle.  As a Patron Circle donor, you can enjoy the VIP experience while creating lasting memories for future generations of young audiences.

As our thanks for your generosity, we offer a variety of donation levels and benefits, including advance ticket sales, personal assistance and more.

Your tax-deductible annual contribution plays an important role in the continued success of Des Moines Performing Arts performances and arts education initiatives while giving you more ways to experience it all.
