PRE AND POST PERFORMANCE
Des Moines Performing Arts brings the best of the performing arts to Des Moines. Through special pre and post-performance events, such as guest lectures and Q&As, audience members gain an inside look into the inner workings of the performance. Pre and post-performance education opportunities are built into every single performance on The Dance Series and Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Family Series.

CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS
Des Moines Performing Arts provides unique training opportunities for local artists of all ages. Guest Broadway artists, professional dancers, and other performing arts professionals lead interactive master classes and workshops typically only available in much larger cities such as New York. 

SUMMER CAMPS
Des Moines Performing Arts provides high quality summer theater camps for young artists between the ages of 6 and 19. Young actors of all experience levels experience the thrill of performing on Des Moines Performing Arts main stage in a performance camp, while teens with previous theater training are invited to participate in an unforgettable week-long musical theater intensive taught by guest Broadway artists.
