1. How can I purchase tickets safely?
Des Moines Performing Arts strongly reminds theatergoers purchase tickets only through Des Moines Performing Arts and Ticketmaster.
When purchasing tickets to any Des Moines Performing Arts event, customers should be advised to use only the following options to guarantee valid tickets and seating:
Neither Des Moines Performing Arts nor Ticketmaster can guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from any other reseller (such as brokers or individuals).
2. Does my child need a ticket?
Children under five years of age are generally not permitted in the theater. At designated shows, however, children of all ages are permitted; however everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket for a specific performance, including all children's productions. Please use your discretion when determining whether or not a performance is suitable for your child.
3. Where do I find shows for sale through TicketExchange?
Des Moines Performing Arts is a private 501 (C) (3) not-for-profit corporation presenting the performing arts to Iowa and the surrounding states. It is the presenter of major Broadway and educational touring companies, performers and groups, and is the performing home of many local and regional groups, including the Des Moines Symphony.
