DES MOINES PERFORMING ARTS ANNOUNCES HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE

For the first time in Des Moines, audiences will experience the Des Moines Symphony performing music to the entire film from one of the most beloved film series in history

(April 24, 2017- Des Moines, IA) – Des Moines Performing Arts announced today that the Des Moines Symphony will perform Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in Concert on February 2, 2018 at 7:30 PM at the Des Moines Civic Center as part of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series. The concert will feature the live symphony orchestra performing, to picture, every note from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Audiences can relive the magic of the film in high definition on a 40-foot screen while the Des Moines Symphony performs every note of John Williams’ unforgettable score to picture live on stage. Consumer Products announced the Harry Potter Film Concert Series, a new global concert tour celebrating the Harry Potter films, early last year.  The Harry Potter Film Concert that kicked off in June 2016 is another magical experience from J.K.
