Accessibility Information

Playbills for most Broadway productions are available in Braille at the Prairie Meadows or Nollen Lobby Guest Services Counters, compliments of the Iowa Department of the Blind. Large print playbills are also generally available.

Elevators to the second level of the lobby are located in the Nollen Lobby and near the Stoner Theater.

FM listening devices are available for use at no charge at the Prairie Meadows and Nollen Lobby Guest Services Counters. Des Moines Performing Arts also offers American Sign Language interpreted performances for at least one performance of most Broadway productions. Call the ticket office at (515) 246-2300 for those specific performance dates.

If you have a medical need, please notify the house staff. Medical services are provided by Unity Point Health Des Moines in the Prairie Meadows Lobby.

Seating is available for all performances for guests with special needs (including wheelchair, motorized cart, difficulty with stairs and sight impairment). Please call the Civic Center ticket office at (515) 246-2300.

Des Moines Performing Arts has wheelchairs available to assist guests with mobility concerns. Guest Services staff may be contacted to assist.
