Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, as its next president and chief executive officer. Holt will assume the role in January 2026, following the retirement of Jeff Chelesvig, who concludes his 30-year tenure later this month.

DMPA’s Applause Series brings world-class performing artists and diverse art forms to its stages for school audiences at special field trip performances.  Each year more than 50,000 students enjoy the Applause Series with tickets that cost students $1. The program is supported by generous DMPA donors who provide $7 in subsidy for each ticket.
