If families, friends, or adoring friends are wondering how they can get tickets to Showcase, here is the information they will need!

FOR REFERENCE: 2025 Student Housing Information Packet

Students participating in the Triple Threat Award or Assistant Stage Manager programs who live more than 60 miles from Des Moines are eligible for overnight accommodations.

ALL STUDENTS ATTENDING THE 2026 IHSMTA SHOWCASE WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE A SIGNED WAIVER.

Students under the age of 18 must have the waiver filled out by their legal guardian / parent.

Students who do not have a signed waiver will not receive their ticket to the IHSMTA Showcase.

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN A BEHIND-THE-SCENES ROLE STUDENTS:

Students who receive Outstanding Achievement in a Behind-the-Scenes Role are required to upload a video documenting their process. Please see the Event Guide for more details.

The Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards Technical Theater Scholarship program celebrates student leaders in technical theater.
Finalists representing each division will receive a one-time scholarship of $2,000, with the goal of aiding them in their future studies*. One student, selected from amongst the finalists, will be awarded the Technical Theater Scholarship and earn an additional one-time cash scholarship of $3,000 (totaling $5,000), with the goal of aiding them in their future studies.

Finalist will be notified Monday, May 4 with additional details.
