Donor support fuels everything that happens at Des Moines Performing Arts. Annually, DMPA brings more than 350,000 guests together through world-class performances, educational experiences, and community programs while serving all 99 Iowa counties and engaging people at every stage of life – from a child's first theater experience to lifelong learning opportunities for adults and meaningful arts experiences for families and neighbors.

Our impact extends far beyond the stage. Through partnerships with schools, community organizations, artists, businesses, and local governments, DMPA expands access to the performing arts, strengthens education, builds community, and creates spaces where people can connect, learn, and belong.
