USING THE ARTS TO ENHANCE STUDENT LEARNING

Teaching science through dance. Bringing history to life with drama. Central Iowa educators are discovering the benefits of integrating arts across the curriculum. Students are more engaged and enthusiastic in class. Learning reaches new heights. These are the lessons that last.

Experts in arts-integration strategies provide educators with the tools and support to transform their classrooms. Through interactive workshops, demonstration teaching, and arts coaching, educators discover new ways to reach students with diverse learning styles.

This winning formula is the result of Des Moines Performing Arts partnerships with Des Moines Public Schools and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. through the national Partners in Education program.
