Des Moines Performing Arts Welcomes New Board Members, Announces Officers for 2026–27
July 16, 2026Des Moines Performing Arts (DMPA) is pleased to welcome Nick Andersen of Nationwide and Jared Landin of Wellmark to its board of directors. Their three-year terms began July 1, 2026.
Nick Andersen serves as Vice President of Agribusiness Claims, Claims Strategic Transformation, and Operations at Nationwide and brings more than 25 years of leadership experience. He is also a longtime community volunteer and arts advocate, having served in leadership roles with organizations including the Des Moines Community Playhouse and the American Red Cross of Central Iowa.
Jared Landin is Executive Vice President of Operations at Wellmark, where he leads teams responsible for customer service, claims administration, membership and enrollment, and related operations. His background includes executive leadership experience in operations, risk management, technology, and audit services. Landin is also a longtime supporter of Des Moines Performing Arts programming.
In addition, the board elected the following officers to serve during the coming year:
Chair: Ardis Kelley, Cornflower Studio
Vice Chair: Rich Willis, Willis Automotive
Secretary: Maribeth Mulready, The Mulready Koehn Foundation
Treasurer: Melinda Ruperto, Ruperto Properties, LLC
