Sixty-five million years ago, dinosaurs ruled the earth. Thirty years ago, a movie about dinosaurs ruled the box office. Now, two actors and one Foley artist are bringing the greatest dinosaur film of all time roaring back to life in the most ridiculous way possible.

Following critically acclaimed West End and Off-Broadway debuts, Hold On To Your Butts is a live, shot-for-shot parody packed with physical comedy, lo-fi spectacle, and prehistoric levels of chaos. Created by the comedy ensemble Recent Cutbacks, the show recreates the iconic dinosaur blockbuster with nothing but two performers, a sound effects artist, and a wildly inventive commitment to the bit.

Part of the fun comes from the show’s live Foley work. A Foley artist creates sound effects in real time using everyday objects, physical movement, and unexpected materials.
