August 3, 2026Wicked
The road to Oz begins now!
Before Wicked takes the stage at the Des Moines Civic Center September 2–20, Des Moines Performing Arts is inviting fans to celebrate the excitement with a citywide Passport to Oz adventure. Explore some of Greater Des Moines' favorite local businesses and community destinations, collect stamps along the way, and you'll have the chance to win two tickets to see Wicked live on stage.
Whether you're a longtime fan or seeing the show for the first time, this is a fun way to get into the spirit of one of Broadway's most beloved musicals while supporting local businesses throughout the community.
How It Works
Starting August 5, pick up your Passport to Oz at any participating location listed below.
As you visit each stop, collect a stamp in your passport.
Once you've received 5 or more stamps (out of 12 possible stops), bring your completed passport to the Des Moines Civic Center Ticket Office during regular business hours by Friday, September 4, to be entered into the prize drawing.
One lucky winner will receive two tickets to their choice of an eligible Wicked performance. Options limited to Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening during the second or third week of the show's run at the Des Moines Civic Center (subject to availability).
