I scream, you scream, we all scream for… downtown fun!
Des Moines Performing Arts is bringing extra magic to downtown Des Moines this September with two major happenings: the interactive art installation Domino Effect by Ingrid Ingrid at Cowles Commons from Aug. 29–Sept. 30 and Broadway’s Wicked at the Des Moines Civic Center from Sept. 2–20.
And here’s an extra sweet treat: You can enjoy ice cream from The Outside Scoop and Baan Vaan Ice Cream on Cowles Commons throughout September.
Whether you’re stopping by to explore Domino Effect, heading to Oz for a performance of Wicked or simply looking for a fun downtown outing, these local ice cream vendors are ready to help make your visit even sweeter. Guests can enjoy classic favorites, rotating flavors and special Wicked-inspired treats during select dates.
