To celebrate the arrival of & Juliet in Des Moines, we asked you to vote on the ultimate Max Martin banger featured in the show—and the results are in. After four fierce rounds and thousands of fan votes, “Since U Been Gone” came out on top!

Not sure who Max Martin is? You definitely know his work. He’s the songwriting genius behind hits like “...Baby One More Time,” “Teenage Dream,” “Roar,” “It's Gonna be Me,” and “Can’t Feel My Face”—just to name a few. The Swedish pop mastermind has written and produced more chart-toppers than almost anyone in music history.

& Juliet reimagines Shakespeare’s classic with a modern twist, set to a soundtrack of Martin’s most iconic hits. Our bracket featured 16 of them—songs you’ve belted in your car, danced to at weddings, and now, get to experience live on stage.
