ABOUT THE SHOW
The Des Moines Symphony’s 2026 Youth Concerts will be presented at the Des Moines Civic Center on Tuesday, March 10 and Wednesday, March 11 at 10 AM.
Designed for 4th and 5th grade students, the Des Moines Symphony’s annual Youth Concerts offer a memorable and educational first-hand experience with a live professional symphony orchestra, while providing useful connections to the classroom and the core curriculum. These Youth Concerts also feature the Des Moines Symphony Academy’s Youth Symphony, performing side-by-side with the Des Moines Symphony Orchestra on several selections, which will inspire students to see and hear what is possible if they choose to study an instrument.
Registered Educators and their students will receive an online concert package including lesson plans, a Teacher's Resource Guide and instrument demonstrations to help prepare students for their upcoming concert experience.
Admission is $3.50 per person.
