Abbie Sawyer is an Iowa singer-songwriter who captivates live audiences with her stirring lyrics, humor, and soulful voice.

As a life-long performer and musician, Abbie has curated a deeply-felt, intimate style using her acoustic guitar and voice, bringing warmth and wonder to her performances: “I want to feel life through my heart, and I want to help light up other people’s hearts," Abbie Sawyer with Iowa Public Radio.

Abbie performs and records as a solo artist, as well as with Diplomats of Solid Sound, NOLA Jazz Band, The Night Lights, Abbie & the Sawyers. Her projects have released 12 albums since 2006 and have over 40 million streams on Spotify.

Her sophomore solo album is due to release in Spring 2025. This performance is her Des Moines release show. Her band will include Steph Graham on upright bass, River Glen on mandolin and fiddle, Lorin Ditzler on vocals and Chris Hansen on drums.
